Assignment: For this assignment we were told to do color pop and two other photoshop task. Color pop:BlendingPoloroidWhat I learned: The color pop was very simple, I had no troubles with it. The blending assignment was also very easy but was next step up. Then I did the polaroid which at first was very difficult. I had to ask a lot of questions because I felt like the explanations were not very detailed. But, once I figured out the format, duplicating it was simple.

I chose color for photo 3 because I really noticed the leaves changing color this weekend. Fall is my favorite time of year and I was so excited about the color change. Best PhotoAperture: 4.2 Shutter Speed: 1/80 ISO: 200 I edited the contrast so the leaf looked brighter. I really enjoyed taking these photos because I love fall so much. The landscape and Macro settings on the camera helped me take better photos for this assignment.
I chose to do event for photo 4 because I was at a horse show in Kentucky. Doing event here was very easy because there was always something going on. Aperture: 4.2 Shutter speed: 1/1250 ISO: 100 No editing done on this photo. I tried to get jumping photos but most of them were not quite as clear as I would like, so I learned I need a faster shutter speed than I was using so they can be clear pictures. This was a fun assignment for me because it was around something I love.
For this assignment we took panoramic pictures which involved a tripod ad taking at least three pictures. There needed to be an overlay of the photos so there were not gaps when put together. For this assignment it was important to have a landscape portrait and the camera in manual mode. Best 2!This assignment was much easier than I thought it would be, the hardest thing was camera set up which is why I have some photos taken at the school and some away from the school. But once the photos were okay, photoshop but the photos together for you.
For photo 2 I chose to do macro because it interested me. I have a pretty nice camera so these photos were not too hard to take. I enjoyed taking photos of flowers most. Aperture: 7.1
Shutter Speed: 1/250 ISO: 200 We were tasked with perfecting an image of an Audi. We got the original image and a finished project, to the best go our abilities we matched the photos so they looked the same. We learned about the cloning tool, which helps make the car all the same color. Original Demo My version I learned a lot more about photo shop. I found the select tool frustrating because it either selected too much or too little. Nothing else was particularly hard due to having the finished image available to look at.
For the first assignment I took picots of my pets because I love them and they are very cute. This was really easy to do because they posed well. Best PhotoAperture:6.3 Shutter Speed: 1/250 ISO:200 I think this shoot went very well, the lighting outside was sunny which made the photos well exposed. I took some inside with flash to try and make my cars eyes more noticeable.
In this assignment we were asked to make pop art. We were asked to do this so we had a greater understanding of pop art. For the first photo, I used a senior photo. For the second, I used a picture of my horse Carter and I jumping at a competition. I had already had some experience with photoshop from graphics. but we never messed with colors. I was really interesting how much you can mess with a photo to make it different from the original. I did not think this assignment was very difficult due to my prior knowledge and the detailed instructions. |
